My name is Anju, and I am a passionate entrepreneur, event organiser, and artist. My years of hands-on business experience have taught me valuable lessons as I have journeyed through life’s ups and downs. I have faced many difficult challenges along the way but have always managed to surmount them to secure a comfortable lifestyle.
My own story is a testament to how a good idea and dedication can flourish into a thriving business. My avid curiosity drives me to never stop learning about the subjects of entrepreneurship, marketing, production, and productivity.
At the tender age of nineteen, I was thrust into the highly competitive industry of printing and graphic design. Far from seeing my youth as a limitation, my energy and imagination allowed me to compete and win out over more experienced competitors. Self-belief, and the encouragement of friends and family, gave me the confidence to enter into the world of business.
I migrated to New Zealand in 2002. As an immigrant, and single mother without any family support structure, things were difficult, but I welcomed the challenges. Providing a good life for my son was my supreme motivation.
While running my Auckland art workshop in 2009, I was offered the chance to run a community-based Bollywood dance class. I grasped the opportunity with both hands and this changed my life forever. I took the plunge and directed all my energies into achieving my goals. From humble beginnings, the business performed well and grew rapidly. I expanded into a costume hire and was soon catering to large corporate events. I leveraged my love and knowledge of Indian culture to transform my little dance class into a thriving nationwide events business.
Over time, I began using the skills I had developed to help some of my friends cultivate their own online businesses. Delighted with the results, they encouraged me to start this marketing company to help other businesses transition to, and succeed in, the world of online commerce. Among the skills I bring to the table are of web design, social media strategy, graphic design, marketing, and strategic planning. These can be harnessed to promote better business results and higher revenue. From 2020 to mid-2021 I have helped over 30 small businesses to transform their presence on social media.

COVID-19 has challenged us personally and professionally, but it has also given us time to reimagine our business as a digital product, or an online service. My name is Dermot King. Throughout the years, as far back as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by language. From the inspirational poetic and prosaic to the mundanely functional. I have been, and continue to be, in awe of how a carefully chosen selection of words can convey a message to an audience.
In my working life, I have gravitated towards the highly technical environment of Information Technology, working for such high-profile companies as IBM and EDS. Throughout my career, my love for the written and spoken word has prompted me to develop language skills that have set me apart, allowing me to explain and clarify difficult concepts and procedures.
Computer technology may have advanced exponentially in the last twenty years, however, information related to it still must be communicated in a form that the non-technical user can understand. However the need to convey information concisely and clearly goes far beyond the realm of technology.
If a customer has a need, and you have a product or service that fulfils that need, then you have a requirement to provide content and describe clearly what you offer. However, this is not an easy task to explain the knowledge you have or to present yourself flawlessly in a digital format to the public. This is where I can help.
I will communicate with you and discover what I need to know to get a clear picture of you and your business. I will distill the information and incorporate it into business profiles, web pages, business cards, advertising flyers, promotional material, social media content, etc.
While there are many challenges, there are even more opportunities. Allow me to harness my love of language to convey your message to the world. I will provide you with your last chance to make a great first impression. It is upon this hook that any future business relationships will hang.
